Nomadic life in Mongolia

I travelled to Mongolia and met some Nomadic families. Winters in Mongolia are extremely cold and tough, temperatures can drop to -50C. I documented their survival and way of living in these harsh conditions.

This series of photos were taken in the Altai Mountains which is on the border of China, Kazakhstan and Russia.

I spent time with these families, learning to live in the present moment whilst pursing deeper connections. From sitting around fires listening to their stories to helping with chores such as cooking and helping to gather wood, etc.

Modern society can easily get us caught up in technological distraction which may result in us sometimes losing touch with humanity. Perhaps, one needs only a few essential things to be content in life.
